Bond-Eye
Bond-Eye's vibrant collection of beach swimwear and cover-ups is a young, funky and flattering range with something to suit every body shape and just to prove it, there are plenty of gorgeous styles and stories to choose from if you're a D Plus. Better yet, the new Nip Tuck range is a shape-enhancing collection of stylish mix and match separates that will trim, tone, lift and sculpt thanks to a unique hidden power mesh fabric. With Nip Tuck tankinis, bikini and boyleg separates and one-pieces and fashion forward styles and prints with hidden soft underwire in so many of the Bond-Eye stories you can confidently hit the beach or pool looking and feeling great. The range of exotic and girly-pretty dresses and smocks in the RA Sun God story will take you from beach to anywhere at any time of the day or night!
Bondi to Bond-Eye
One half of this five year old fashion label, designer Tash Sassoon, found inspiration right on her doorstep at Australia's famed Bondi Beach. Together with fellow swimwear designer Steve Philpott, she harnessed her years of swimwear design experience and her first-hand experience observing beach culture at Bondi to create Bond-Eye.
Bond-Eye is all-Australian and very beachy! The stories are exotic, tropical and colourful. But, noting that women come in all different types of body shapes, Tash and Steve were committed to creating collections that included something for everyone and to ensure that bigger busted women who wanted to wear fashionable and feminine tops would find suitably innovative and inspired styles in each collection.
Beach Girl Signature
Unique prints and classic bikini-girl styling so strongly associated with Australian beach culture are the signatures of the Bond-Eye label. Fabrics in florals, muted stripes or plains with trims are moulded into separates that tie, are ruched, have built in soft cups or underwire, shape-enhancing mesh, adjustable straps. They come in classic halters and triangles, bandeaus and tankinis, boyleg, bikinis and hipster styles.
Bikinis are synonymous with beach culture for young women and Bond-Eye has taken that definitive look and added practical elements and styles into their collections that retain all of the Bondi Beach babe flavour so closely identified with Australia's most famous beach but also include fabulously flattering and fashion forward options for fuller figured women.
Tash Sassoon admits that creating a functional and fashionable swimwear range that works for all body types was a difficult assignment but it was one that she was absolutely determined, and extremely experienced enough in swimwear design, to achieve!
The range is so extensive and well thought out that Bond-Eye receives a big tick for getting it so right!
Chic Cover-Ups
Extending the notion of beachwear beyond the beach, Bond-Eye has one of the widest ranges of cover-ups in styles to suit every one and all occasions.
From the more casual loose pant or sarong as a throw-over to smock and beach tops, and kaftan-style tops to a whole host of different dresses from minis to ankle length, haltered, smocked or sleeved and gypsy skirts, skirts with ruffles , Bond-Eye's complementary outerwear allows you to assemble a total lifestyle wardrobe around your choice of swimwear.
RA Sun God is a vivid, yet muted, multi-stripe print that draws from the blue and pink colour palettes and features delicate cutout detail that has a broderie anglaise feel while Nebu includes the same cutout motif in crisp white.
Bond-Eye is a vibrant and youthful label that is practical and flattering on any fashionista who wants a total beach-inspired experience. It is feminine and functional, comfortable and chic and you can stay beachside, pop on a gorgeous co-ordinated cover-up as you step off the sand and not have to worry about heading home in between for a change of outfit before you head to your next destination. What more could you want for a long, hot summer's day?
