Hermanny by Vix for Victory

Vix is the local abbreviation for the city of Vitoria in Brazil and 'vitoria' means Victory in Portugese. Designer Paul Hermanny may have named her swimwear brand to reflect its origins but the subsequent international success of the Hermanny by Vix label is nothing short of a true victory!

It was her grandmother who taught her the art of designing and sewing but it was her own imagination that conjured the type of woman she wanted to design for - classic yet modern tastes, a world traveller who turns heads, a woman who wants to look beautiful and aspires to elegance.

The latest Hermanny by Vix women's swimwear collection celebrates colour and silhouette while incorporating so many elements of the season's hottest swimwear trends. There are gentle, soft ruffles, subtle metal embellishments and detail, voodoo prints and elegant stripes across the new season's green and blue palettes plus classic and chic black and white.

At the 2010 Miami Swim Show, the Vix Swimwear Collection was a standout on the catwalk and earned the designer accolades for immaculate attention to fashion forward style, cutting edge materials and exceptional craftmanship.

Vitoria has five beaches and numerous little bays but Paula Hermanny has since stepped beyond Brazil, constantly visiting different beaches around the world for her inspiration.
