Clean Out the Clutter From Your Underwear and Bra Drawer
It is always good to keep your underwear neatly organised. This makes it easier to find your favourite bras at the opportune time. There are many ways to organise your bra and underwear drawer. You can choose to sort your bras and underwear by colour or type. It doesn’t matter what you chose as long as it makes sense to you. Before you begin to organise your bras and other undergarments, the first thing you need to do is clean out the clutter, this simply means that you throw away the ones you no longer need. If there are holes in your bras or they are tattered, stretched out or washed out it’s time to throw them in the thrash. There is nothing sexy about old underwear.
Keep Them Separate in your Bra and Underwear Drawer
After you have thrown away the unwanted bras and underwear, it is now time to separate the different types. If you have a big enough drawer you can still put your panties and bras together and use a separator to keep them neatly organised. You can use as many as you wish and separate by colours, occasion, material or type of bras and underwear. However, if you are low on space you may need to use separate drawers for bras and underwear. Separators are sold at pharmacies and Kraft shops or you can find creative ways to make your own separators.
Fold or Flat Storage in Your Bra and Underwear Drawer
There are a number of different ways to fold bras and underwear in a drawer. Some people prefer to just lay the underwear flat the way they do in some lingerie stores, but if space is in issue this is not the best way to make use of the drawer. You can choose to fold the underwear into small squares and as for bras it is best to fold one cup into the other, you can then place two or three on top of each other. If you really want to keep your favourite bras and underwear as long as possible, you can also invest in containers than can keep dust and moisture from getting on them, Ziploc bags can also be very useful for this purpose.
Scented or Un-Scented Bras and Underwear
It is quite customary to keep scented vials in your bra and underwear drawer because they give bras and underwear a sweet smell. However, you do not need to do this; you can simply stick to the sweet aroma of your fabric softener, but if you want something sweeter, wrap an empty bottle of your favourite perfume in a rag and place in the bottom of the drawer then place bras and underwear on top.
